typeSCALE private view

typeSCALE private view was tonight. Some interesting ways at looking at using type on pages. I love letterpress as a way of working and thinking about the possibilities that can be done with this process. I'd like to start to understand how to make really nice type specimen sheets- and looking at the exhibition has reminded me the impact that his has for a type face.
Would like to start using letterpress on photographs or newspapers. Or use other types of printing processes and combine to get the effects I'd like. Just start making and experimenting. See what effect they have and on what materials. Unfortunately this will have to wait until January when I can get back into letterpress as can only be there next monday- and I want to look at the different typefaces available to play with. 
Also after looking at this exhibition it has just reminded me how much I prefer work that is interactive. When I do things for exhibitions i want people to be involved, they are the bits that I like most about all the exhibitions I've been to.
