Whist working with type and working on my dissertation, I've had to start seriously thinking about what medium to use and why I would use that medium or font as there are normally associations with everything.
So this is the start of a research book I'm working on, Head to toe, which looks into why we use certain accessories, and the thinking behind them. For example a ring might symbolize eternity, eternal bond with a partner in Christianity.
All these aspects need to be taken into consideration.
