I decided that it would be a good idea to try and communicate without speaking to people. So speak without speaking. I thought one of the best ways to do this is through type- and jewelery as it is something that I would wear or perhaps an item of clothing.
Then I started thinking about the basics and what are basic things for me that I might wish to communicate. So decided that it would be good to say how I like my tea in the form of a necklace.
These are then cut out using the laser cutter in 3mm tinted acrylic.
I am going to continue making these either in the form of jewelery or slogans about myself on clothing.
The next step is to make them into necklaces. I think it is important to stay with this typeface but will test others out. Maybe look into accents or other things to communicate in detail. Perhaps how I like my coffee or little facts about myself. Maybe the type of person i am looking for or how I might describe myself. Or relate the area where the 'slogan' goes to where it is placed on the body. E.g. a ring - I click my knuckles at least once a day.
